Healthcare and Social Networking

In my normal fashion, I looked to see what the American Heart Association had to say about social networking.  It turns out that the AHA has invested heavily in social media as their way of social networking.  They even have what they call a Social Media Hub.  I found it rather interesting and thought I would share it with you:

  1. Thanks for sharing! In the healthcare part of my professional life, I am a member of The International Association of Forensic Toxicologists (TIAFT). As I grow my ID skills, I would like to help improve the online opportunities for continuing education (for now, it's exclusively based on not-so interactive webinars). Like AHA, TIAFT has also diversified its communication modes on social media and posts information on FB, LinkedIn, Instagram and Twitter, but their social media hub is more a group of embedded codes at the bottom of their welcome page (https://www.tiaft.org/). I think such a hub has a fantastic potential as a gate for learning activities, and thus could be shared on a dedicated page on professional webistes. Thanks a lot for sharing, it inspired me for my ultimate project with this association!
